Dear Friends of the Knights of Columbus, It gives us immense pleasure to announce the upcoming Nassau Knights of Columbus Outing and Awards Dinner, which will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at the Harbor Links Club in Port Washington, New York. Knights of Nassau County will bring together golf lovers, philanthropists, business owners, and community leaders to have an enjoyable time for a great cause - - “Supporting the Ministry Programs of The Nassau Chapter of the Knights.” This years designated charity is AMT Children of Hope Foundations. To make this event an enormous success, The Nassau Knights of Columbus is seeking potential sponsors who are willing to support our initiatives through taking sponsorship opportunities and/or monetary contributions as outlined in the attached flyer. Please feel free to share the attached flyer with any prospective sponsors or donors that might want to participate. Our fundraising goal is to attract at least twenty-five foursomes to play in a golf scramble format. This is our first 18-hole event portion, prior events were sold out. There will be breakfast before golf, lunch on the course and an awards dinner afterwards. The Nassau Knights will be Honoring Fr. Chris Costigan & Fr. Bret Stockdale for their dedication and service to our order. In addition, awards will be given for Faith - Jim Corrigan, Family - Michael Reali, Community- TBD, and Life – Keith Wilson for service to the Knights of Columbus in Nassau County. Companies and individuals can also be a sponsor with their names displayed on a tee sign and in the commemorative journal. If you cannot attend the golf portion of the day, please join us at the awards dinner. Cocktails start at 5:30 pm! Those who will not be able to attend the event can still take part by providing raffle/award prizes, or items for participants’ gift packages. We also welcome any monetary donations for this event or to the fund throughout the year.
